Our Journey

February 2018

SaveHalal's journey started with my personal struggle to find a riba-free halal RESP portfolio for my
children in Canada. I was unable to identify a single product that dint has a
component of interest-based investment for RESPs

Motivated not to give in to the status quo, I began exploring options. Eventually, I decided to dive into the system and acquired the required license from the Government. This process gave me a deeper understanding and connected me to like-minded professionals.

With invaluable access to thousands of investment portfolios in Canada and the United States, we realized that riba-free opportunities could be a reality. We began engaging with the established organizations in Canada to create riba-free portfolios of the local Muslim Community.

We associated ourselves with WFG, which offered unparalleled support and access to all major financial institutions in Canada and the United States.

January 2021

It was time to make riba-free options accessible to the wider community.
The plan to launch SaveHalal was a go.

Working with mainstream Financial and Insurance Institutions, we were
able to identify riba-free options for both registered and non-registered
accounts in Canada.

SaveHalal beings it's journey, aspiring to maximize riba-free investment and saving solutions as a viable and profitable alternative to conventional financial instruments in North America.

How do we Operate?

In a letter to Robert Hooke in 1675, Isaac Newton made his famous statement, “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulder of Giants.”

Inspired by that, we choose to leverage the vast network of mainstream financial and insurance providers in North America to help us tailor optimal solutions for those seeking to invest and save Halal.
